Switching schools tomorrow.. Don't know what to do?

I got expelled from my private school (been going to private schools for my whole life) for computer use and stuff like that... I have to go to a public school for the rest of the year. I'm in grade 8 and will be finishing grade 8 at the public school. My friend that's in grade 9 says that all the girls are gonna hate me cause i'm pretty and all the guys are gonna love me. I honestly don't know what to do... How do i make friends? Half way through the year... and i don't know anyone. What do i do during recess?? Just talk to the teacher cause i'm friendless??? please help.
