Help with bamboo plant?

determining what bamboo would be good too, but hte best thing is to go to where the part is you want to stop it and dig down just a little bit put rocks or something flat such a s concrete brick or a pc of wood down to stop the roots/plants from trailing underground kind like a mini fence pulling and digging it up wont help because bamboo trails thats how it produces with the sprouts. also where the main root is you can cut all the main shoots off that will help too to contain it. but try the "fence" it works for us.
