Is she deliberately ignoring me, is it a bit of social anxiety or am i really just not there?

I think you already know the answer but I should explain in to you in a clear way. We all know that most shy people don't really talk but they want to tell something but their just embarr and they don't have the confidence to initiate a conversation. She's a bit shy so she doesn't know what to do in the situation on this things, if you really treat her like a friend and want to be her friend more then you should be the one directly approaching in short you should control the situation and help her to relax and have a decent conversation. Like ask here where she is living and so on and on and on.
