Country song about friends?

I am looking for a country song from about 95 or 96. I'm not sure who sings it. Tracy Byrd comes to mind but I don't think it was him. It was about friends and never forgetting them. My best friend was moving away and we told each other every time we heard it we would think of each other. Any ideas Thanks!
